Experimenting with Quantam Levitation: how ideas about hovering cars get started

There’s still a long way to go, but based on how quickly technology has been advancing (and how eager governments, hedge funds and venture capitalists are to throw money at new innovations), it isn’t inconceivable that there could be a hovering car prototype, based on this technology, by the end of the year.

In the experiment below, Tel Aviv University’s Superconductivity Group uses the Meissner effect to literally “freeze something in time and space.”
